## Platform priorities

1. **Save Our Beaches & Coastline.** Grants requested today can take years to fund, so we have to act now. Aaron opposes any tax increases and will push State, County, OCTA, Federal Government and Department of Defense partners to fund the work, because they share a stake in keeping the rail corridor open and our beaches protected.
2. **Public Safety.** Fully fund police, fire, emergency response and environmental services, with responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars.
3. **Coastal Rail Resiliency.** Work with the County, State and OCTA on corridor solutions that actually work for San Clemente.
4. **Protecting Against Toxic Pesticides.** Keep the health hazards affecting neighboring Ladera Ranch out of our community, and suspend toxic pesticide use that harms children and animals.
5. **Prima Deshecha Landfill.** Push back on the increased tonnage being brought in, a major concern for Talega and Forster Ranch residents.
6. **Preserving the Spanish Village by the Sea.** Thoughtful planning that protects our heritage and opposes over-development.
7. **Government Transparency.** Clearer explanations of major proposals and spending, regular project updates, and real input before decisions are final.
